Arsenal defender doesn't like Marseille, chased by Man City

Laurent Koscielny isn’t interested in moving to Marseille, according to the latest reports from France.

The Arsenal defender had been linked to a move to the Stade Velodrome, with Besiktas also known to be interested in him.

The Manchester City target has been requested by a Chinese Super League club, too, but isn’t interested in moving to a club that is still far from competing for silverware.

Marseille were bought out by Franck McCourt, former owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and have spent more in recent times, bringing back Dmitri Payet from West Ham United.

The Ligue 1 hopefuls are set to look for an alternative, sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta interested in former Milan flop Adil Rami.

Koscielny signed an extension with Arsenal recently, one that will keep him at the Emirates until 2020.

The 31-year-old netted twice in Premier League action this season, in a total of 33 appearances.
