Marseille chase Milito, City on Cavani

    • Serafino Ingardia

Diego Milito could leave Inter in the January transfer window and
according to French newspaper Le Parisien, Olympique Marseille are after
    the Argentine striker.

Milito has a contract with Inter until June 2014 but is not longer
considered a regular by the Nerazzurri. The club coached by Didier
Deschamps would be a fascinating way out from Milan although the French
outfit may be unable to cover his hefty wage thus asking President Massimo
Moratti to contribute. But in exchange of Milito’s service, the Nerazzurri
could be asking for André Ayew
, Marseille youth product and son of former

Serie A footballer Abedi Pelé. Ayew is a winger who can also play as a
forward and holds a French passport despite being of Ghanaian nationality.
Barcelona and Arsenal are reportedly interested but Inter would be in pole
    position thanks to Milito.

    - CITY FANCY NAPOLI TRIO

Edison Cavani is tied to Napoli but despite that many clubs are following
the Uruguayan striker looking for an opening to start negotiations.
Manchester City are among those who would jump on the deal as confirmed by
chief scout Carlo Cancellieri: “We like Cavani but also Marek Hamsik and
Ezquiel Lavezzi. Edison has always been on top my wish-list. After Zlatan
Ibrahimovic, he is the best striker in Serie A and his agent knows how much
    City appreciate him…”

    - GARRIDO-SOCIEDAD, NAINGGOLAN-ZENIT, TIRIBOCCHI-FIORENTINA

Lazio defender Javier Garrido could end his disappointing adventure in
Italy and join Spanish side Real Sociedad. The loan deal could be completed
by January. The Biancocelesti are looking to strengthen their squad with
Radja Nainggolan. But for the Belgian midfielder, Cagliari President
Massimo Cellino wants 12M Euros. Manchester City enquired but Zenit are in
pole position for his capture. So for Lazio and Fiorentina, which are also
monitoring him, chances are limited. The Viola could make do by signing
    Simone Tiribocchi from Atalanta.
The Italian striker would become the new
vice-Gilardino as Santiago Silva could make a speedy return to Argentina
    (Boca Juniors).

    - SCHURRLE-INTER NO DEAL

The Nerazzurri are following André Schürrle, 21-year-old striker from
Bayer Leverkusen. But this rumour has been denied by the player’s agent,
Ingo Haspel. “My client has a contract with Bayer until June 2016, they are
a big club in Champions League and he is happy. There is no reason he would
want to leave.” But according to reports, Inter have already approached
Bayer’s director Rudy *Völler about the youngster. “I can’t see why they
would want to sell since they spent much to sign him from Mainz
    . But Inter
are a big club and in the future who knows,” added Haspel

    - PAZIENZA STAYS PUT

Michele Pazienza just recently joined Juventus from Napoli on a free
transfer but there already rumours regarding his future. According to
reports, the tireless midfielder could be tempted by a move to Udinese
since he is not playing with consistency in Turin. But his agent, Vincezo
D’Ippolito, feels it yet too soon to talk about a move: “Michele is happy
for the time being and is honoured to be part of such a prestigious club as
    Juventus.
But of course if his playing time will continue to be limited,
then we would start looking around”.
